Lifestyle Choices

Lifestyle Choices is a Human Service Organisation supporting people with all types of disability.

Nearly two years ago Human Service Organisations were provided with an opportunity through the Ministry of Health to raise the bar in their professional work practices.

Our organisation had grown very quickly & we needed to review & consolidate our current situation within the organisation. We had a vision for all the people within the organisation but needed some guidance on how to do this successfully.

Our vision & missions is to provide a unique & personal service to everyone within the organisation.
We endeavour to work collaboratively with people coming into services, their families & staff to give people who are marginalised a better life.

Leadership Development New Zealand was the Organisation that we chose.

The training was tailored by Leadership Development to our specific organisation focusing on developing a Strategic Plan that would serve as a benchmark to the current changes and assist us with future planning.

This exercise was extremely valuable and has changed the face of Lifestyle Choices.

Along with the Strategic Planning we also revised our Vision & Missions which has shifted the culture of our Organisation.

The Strategic Planning holds us accountable to our vision & missions. Leadership Development at our request advise on these matters.
