Glenda Hamilton: Manager, Leadership Development New Zealand

Glenda HamiltonA senior manager for the past twenty six years Glenda combines her passion to lift organisational performance with experience, resulting in strong partnerships with organisations to meet strategic developmental objectives and outcomes. She advocates for stakeholder engagement and learning and development as an integrated process. Her leadership development experience incorporates Executive Development to First Line programmes, coaching and mentoring. 

Glenda has an extensive knowledge of learning and development, focussing on aligning performance improvement solutions to organisational need, and strategically aligned outcomes. She was recently quoted as saying “The intersection between learning and development with business strategy should not be underestimated in achieving business outcomes, particularly in challenging times” going on to say “ the key  is not found in isolated learning interventions but in sustainable partnerships between providers, management and learners.’  

 

Terry Lewis: Personal Assistant and Business Administration

Terry began working with Leadership Development  in June 2000; bringing with her 25 years experience in Administration, Customer Service and Sales.

Terry has a very full role within the business supporting both the Managing Director and the Leadership Development New Zealand team in the business administration, NZQA processing and records, supporting relationships with ITO groups, strategic alliance groups and customers of the company.

Terry has a Certificate in Tertiary Teaching and is accredited as a Workplace Assessor.

 

Sue Weterings: Consultant

With over 20 years experience working with leaders and managers in business, Sue has a wealth of experience and industry knowledge in the field of people development, training and sales.

Personally very passionate about the subject of leadership and development of leaders, much of her time is spent in this area working with the senior leaders within organisations helping them strengthen and develop the culture of their businesses and organisational  development strategies for growing and developing their people.

Sue's career background commenced in the Health Industry and was qualified as an Occupational Therapist before working in the people development industry. She was the owner of Leadership Development New Zealand from 1997-2011.  She has a Diploma in Business Administration, a Certificate in Adult education, is accredited as a Workplace Assessor and has accreditation in numerous behavioural profiling and diagnostic tools.

 

Clive Foy: Product Research & Development

Clive is an independent consultant (Prosper Dynamic Ltd) who has contracted his services to Leadership Development New Zealand for a number of years focusing on the development of Leadership Development New Zealand training materials and programmes.

Clive has assumed numerous roles both in the corporate world in marketing and in private enterprise in the training and development field.

Clive's wide experience in a diverse range of industries and his professional background makes a vital contribution to the ongoing development of the products and development materials of Leadership Development New Zealand to the highest standards of quality and excellence.

 

Greg Finnigan: Leadership Development Wellington

Greg FinniganGreg is enthusiastic about investing resource into people  development. 20 years of experience in the development sector has proven that investment in personnel will produce tangible benefits to an organisations outcome. These benefits are multi-layered and capable of having transformational effects to personal, family / whanau, business and community wellbeing. By changing beliefs and attitude we can definitely change behaviour and performance.

Greg has gained diverse industry experience in Training and Development roles which has seen him both employed and self employed designing and delivering training. He has contracted services to Government departments holding senior advisory positions, trained students in polytechnics and trained and assessed competence in the work place. This work experience has spanned the Electrical, NGO, ITO, Health, Education, Crime reduction and Government sectors.

Greg has Diplomas in Electro-Technology and Management and a Certificate in Adult Education. Greg  is also accredited in the TMS diagnostic tools and an NZQA registered workplace assessor. 

Shaaron Adams: Leadership Development South Island

Shaaron Adams is based within the Nelson/Marlborough region working with clients throughout New Zealand. These clients include government departments, local government and Seafood Manufacturing and Contracting industries.

Shaaron's career has been diverse, having worked for and contracted to both private and government organisations. These roles include both a training/facilitation focus in addition to marketing and consulting work. Shaaron also works as the Development Manager in a contractual position with the Tasman Rugby Union.

Working alongside organisations and management to create opportunities for their people to grow and develop their leadership skills is something Shaaron is very committed to and passionate about.

Shaaron is a NZQA workplace assessor, accredited in TMI profiling and 360 degree assessment tools and in the final stages of her BBS at Massey University.

 

Lizz Conroy: Leadership Development South Island

Lizz Conroy, BA. B.Ed. has been working in education and training for many years within the Nelson Marlborough region. Lizz joined Leadership Development late 2007 having been involved in industry training for over six years at the Whenua iti outdoors Centre. Feedback from trainees and management highlights Lizz's facilitation skills and her understanding of an organisations vision, values and operating principles. Lizz is passionate about creating training opportunities that motivate and challenge individuals to grow.

 

Roy Tikao: Leadership Development South Island

Roy commenced his career with Westpac, followed by a branch management position with United Bank, eventually leading to a directorship role with Ngai Tahu Finance Ltd. Further experience was then gained by working with local economic development agency Canterbury Development Corporation, Industry New Zealand, Work & Income New Zealand and his iwi Ngai Tahu, giving Roy sound knowledge of Canterbury and the South Island's diverse and progressive commercial business environment and not-for-profit communities. Other industries Roy has worked with include adult community education, learning and development, information technology, tourism, sports goods & apparel, telecommunications and FMCG with multinational Proctor & Gamble.

In Roy's spare time his extensive not-for-profit work has been recognised with a Christchurch City Council Community Services award and judged as a Caltex Unsung Hero Regional Award Winner for his services to the community.

Roy's desire is to continue, through his work with Leadership Development New Zealand, to effectively impact on the successful development and growth of leaders within the South Island.
